Tres Dias Community

Dear Pescadores,

I want to begin by expressing my deep gratitude for entrusting me with the privilege of serving as President of our Cleveland Tres Dias community this upcoming year. It is an honor I do not take lightly, and I am so excited for all that God has in store for us.

As I prayed about this letter, the Lord brought this scripture to my heart a powerful reminder of our “why” in this ministry:

A little about me ,

I attended my Tres Dias weekend 14 years ago, and ever since, I’ve had the joy of serving the Lord within this incredible community. Over the years, God has also opened doors for me to serve in other Christian ministries such as Chrysalis, Emmaus, and Kairos. In those communities, I’ve held board positions and served in many different leadership roles.

I share this not to boast, but to give you a glimpse of my journey and to encourage you especially those who may not know me well that although I may seem young, I carry with me a depth of experience and a heart fully surrendered to the Lord’s work.

Outside of ministry, I spend much of my time with my family, my sweet supportive husband and our two beautiful boys.

My promise to you,

This year, I promise to uphold the foundational beliefs of Tres Dias and to seek the Lord prayerfully every step of the way. Our ministry exists to:

  • Encourage Christians to share the love of Christ

  • Emphasize the deep and personal love our Lord has for each of us

  • Strengthen believers to serve and evangelize within their home churches and communities.

A challenge for the year ahead

Pescadores, I’d love to lovingly challenge each of you to reflect on the unique gifts the Lord has placed within you. Every one of us has been equipped, not for our own glory, but for His.

Let us use our gifts in these ways:

In love and humility – Acknowledging that all gifts are from God and are to be used to serve others

In prayer and discernment – Asking God to show us where and how to use our gifts

In service and stewardship – Meeting the needs of others and building up the body of Christ

For edification – Strengthening, encouraging, and uplifting one another in faith

Examples of spiritual gifts at work include

  • Teaching: Helping others grow in their faith

  • Serving: Offering practical help where it’s needed

  • Giving: Contributing resources generously to God’s work

  • Hospitality: Extending warmth and welcome

  • Encouragement: Lifting up those around you in love

  • Mercy: Offering compassion to the hurting

By embracing and stewarding our spiritual gifts with love, humility, and intention, we become co-laborers in building the Kingdom of God right here in our Tres Dias community.

We have a fierce, faithful, and Spirit-filled executive leadership team who love the Lord and this community deeply. Praise God! But we can’t do it alone, we need you to come alongside us.

  • Looking forward to a year that is fantastic, fierce, and Holy Spirit filled. This community has great work to do and it’s all for His glory.

Please know that if you need anything, I am always here. Feel free to call, text, or email me.

With love and in Christ,

De Colores
